1
Standard (ceramic tile) blades that come with most wetsaws should NOT be used to cut glass tiles - or the tile will tear, crack and chip.
2
Instead, replace the wetsaw blade, removing the casing and blade bolt.
3
A seven inch, diamond electroplated glass tile blade fits in the old blade's place.
4
Tighten the bolt and replace the casing.
5
For clean cuts and blade longevity, make sure that the tray is completely filled with water.
6
When cutting, press lightly and steadily.
7
Allow the blade to do the work.
8
Used as directed, a good quality diamond electroplated glass tile blade will last for hundreds of cuts.
